North East Art Plans
With a bit of hope on the horizon I thought I would update you on my North East Art Plans. In other words, my provisional plans for classes and the studio, subject of course to the situation being conducive.
North East Art Plans March/April
I shall be continuing A49 Online throughout these months. Please email me if you would like to join in with the weekly challenges. Over the past year artists have produced over 1500 pieces of art.
Art Plans for May
The opening of the studio at the Linskill Centre is forecast to be the week beginning Monday 10th May and I can’t wait!
I shall be running the regular 3 hour classes on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays with a Tuesday class on 18th May from 10-3 pm.
Classes will be a maximum of ten places with priority going to those who had booked for the Nov/Dec classes
June and July
Classes will continue on Mondays and Fridays 10 – 1 pm, Thursdays 6 – 9 pm and Tuesday from 10 – 3 pm. If the conditions are favourable I will be moving class numbers up to a maximum of twelve
July and August
I will be running a weekly class 10-3 pm on Tuesdays and hope to organise some outdoor sketching sessions. Previous locations have included
- Seaton Sluice harbour
- Seaton Delaval Hall
- St Mary’s Lighthouse
- Northumberland Park in North Shields
July 6th
The Great A49 Arty Picnic – Again if conditions allow, I will be organising a trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park near Wakefield for outdoor art and cream teas.
So, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a happy and safe reopening and a lovely Spring and Summer for us all. Filled with art and creativity.
