North East Art Classes
Studio A49 – North East Art Classes were set up by Clare Money who has had many years teaching experience. Here you will find friendly and supportive workshops in drawing and painting. We cover various themes such as:
- Landscape
- Portraiture
- Still life
North East Art Classes – Regular Classes
Regular classes at Studio A49 have a maximum of 12 places.
They are run on the following days and times (when we are not in lockdown).
Monday 10 am -1 pm
Thursday 6 – 9pm
Friday 10 am -1 pm
These North East Art Classes are offered in six week blocks each based on a suggested theme and cost £78 per person.
North East Art Classes – Taster Sessions
In addition there are also one off day classes on two Tuesdays a month.
These run from 10 am – 3 pm at a cost of £30 per day per person.
These can be used as taster sessions to give you the chance to try out a workshop, investigate a variety of materials, and experiment with different aspects of art such as:
- Mark making
- Colour mixing
- Composition
The classes offer a creative and friendly environment in which you will be encouraged to develop your skills in drawing and painting whilst having fun, tea and biscuits.
Materials are not included however paper is always available to buy at a low cost and I provide some basics on the ‘Trolley of Delight’ including boards and palettes.
Who are these Art Classes For?
All abilities are welcomed from beginner to beyond.
Each class starts with a thirty minute practical demonstration.
Following this, artists tackle their own work with plenty of one to one advice on hand. The sessions end with a gentle celebration of art work displayed on the ‘Wall of Glory’
